Aeslend
The largest continent of Moren Ezen, a vast exanse with varied landscapes and treacherous wastelands. Reaching or leaving the continent is difficult due to harsh currents, rough bays and deserted ports.

Kestrana
Between the glittering golden dunes of the Ethereal Badlands, Kestrana's walls rise in defiance of the impermanence of the desert; sun-baked and shimmering faintly in the heat. Graceful palms spread shade over the roads into the city. Eventually, hard-packed sand gives way to wide streets paved with limestone tile. The closer one travels towards the heart of the city, the more ornate the buildings become. Limestone and sandstone make up a majority of construction, as timber is comparatively rare and must be imported from abroad. Natural dyes such as ochre and blue copper are used to ornament the homes of wealthier citizens.
The crowning jewel of Kestrana is indeed it's market districts. Both a thriving port city and home to a world-renowned bazaar, Kestrana is a trade hub in every sense of the word. A massive statue overtaken by vines stands watch over a sea of tents and their proprietors, hawking wares from across the sands. The harbor and dockyards also contribute to this thriving economy by bringing in expensive goods from Moren Ezen's continents—assuming the merchant fleets make their crossings unscathed, of course.

Blindhelm
Aeslend’s northernmost settlement is as beautiful as it is cold. Blindhelm is so far north, in fact, that few outsiders have ever seen it at all. The ‘road’ is a narrow icy scar in the landscape, stalked frequently by wolves and the massive white bears native to the Voiceless Wilds. To adapt to life on the open tundra is no easy task. Sealmeat, fish, and foraged eggs make up the bulk of meals. Trade is rare; the most fearless and enterprising sort occasionally come from further south, but most find their horses flagging in the bitter cold and howling tundra winds before too long. Though there are rumours of mammoths, great shaggy beasts eking out a living in the vastness of the Wilds, further north where only the hardiest of nomadic tribes can survive.
The local people — affectionately known as Blinders, for the searingly bright expanses of snow and ice around their town — are on the whole deeply respectful of outsiders, for news of the wider world of Moren Ezen is a welcome change from daily life. Yet they are also looked on with suspicion, in a place where theft or sabotage means death for their families come wintertime, when the snows come and blind them from the world once more.

Tra Tau
Little more than a narrow, snowy street lined with buildings, Tra Tau is a true settlement on the edge of civilized space. The people who eke out a living here are as hardy as the wildlife; for the pass to Tra Tau can be closed by snow for months on end. Self-sufficiency is a must. Despite the bitterly cold winters, summertime in Tra Tau can be quite balmy—the perfect weather for fishing or harvesting wild berries. Locals sometimes give out jellies and other preserves as gifts, to travelers they deem worthy.
A day or two's ride north, the landscape turns to tundra. Beyond that... the unforgiving ice.

Yeshi
A vertical pueblo of timber, bamboo and thatch built symbiotically into the breaches of Aeslends dense tropics, Yeshi is a city of unique pulchritude and renown, though it is unfrequented by visitors. The lower branches and forest floor are inhabited primarily by hunters and farmers, along with the unfortunate, while the middle and upper branches — connected by an intricate network of catwalks and stairs — lodge the townsfolk.
The city is boarded by an impregnable stronghold of solid timber pilings, standing over twelve feet tall. Few but the hunters dare venture into the untamed wilds beyond, and even fewer return, for there prowls many among the continent's most feared and ferocious predators: Forest Raptors. As such, the bulk of Yeshi's trade and commute is conducted via sea.
There are few more distinguished for their hunting prowess across the continents of Moren Ezen than a Yeshen hunter.

Bitterroot Hallow
Nestled in the foothills on the outskirts of the Ethereal Badlands, Bitterroot Hallow is secreted amidst a dense network of canyon fissures carved into the dry desert earth, and shrouded in a perpetual sea-born fog. It's remote obscurity renders Bitterroot near-impossible to find without the guide of those who know the path, and the rumors of a beast standing guard — a terrible creature of shadow and malice incarnated by dark magic — deters most of ill-intent from perusing its gate.
