TRAINING

To be able to use your horse in a specialty, they first need to be trained. This requires a training image showing a registered rider and horse preparing for the specialty - such as being tacked up and broken to ride, or themes more specific to the specialty like becoming used to the sound of gunfire for hunting, pulling a plow for the first time for farming, or having their conformation inspected for horse husbandry.

  • Images must be full body, coloured and have a background. Handler is required. Shading is optional.

  • Literature entries must be 1,400 words minimum.

  • Up to 3 horse and rider pairs allowed per training.

  • Collaborations must clearly state who did which parts. One entry may contain up to 3 collaborators.

  • Literature collaborations require a minimum of 700 words per participant.

Training submissions may be combined with trainings for horses in other specialties (e.g. one character may be training for Herding and another for Farming) - exception: Horse Husbandry (Breeding). Each training must be clearly visible and identifiable for each horse. Listing each horse's specialty in the deviation comments is required.

Training images cannot be combined with general entry images.
