Adding Items to Your Import

Adding items to your import is a fun way to customize your horse to really bring out their character. Moren Ezen offers several items to help make your mount unique, but there are a few guidelines on how each item works.

Scar Packs

A scar pack is a token that allows you to add a variety of scars to your import. It allows a combination of small and medium scars, or one large scar. These can range from scratches, bites, cuts, rope burns, and more. Scars should match the horse's skin tone and have a healed appearance. No blood/open wounds. At times, white hairs can grow in over the injured area - if this is to be depicted, the scarring should not mimic any existing markings.

Below are the max areas that each scar size may cover - large, medium and small.

Hand Paints

Hand paints are natural pigments that may be painted onto the horse's coat in various symbols and designs. Often painted on with one's fingers, the designs tend to be simple. Overly intricate designs, designs with any type of glow or neon colour, or any symbol that may be seen as politically, religiously or culturally offensive will not be approved.

One hand paint allows up to two symbols on a single import. A series of dots, lines or dashes may be counted as one item. Designs may show some texture or smudging. Minimum and maximum sizes as well as a possible example are shown below.

Small Decoration

Small decorations are typically small individual or clustered items. The size range is shown below on the head and on the shoulder. (Each circle would be an individual decoration.)

Usually objects, small decorations may include a braid, ribbon, feathers or beads added into the hair, or a simple halter or collar. Small items are typically a single object, but may be clustered items, such as several flowers, or a ribbon tying feathers into the mane. Live animals are not allowed to be depicted on horse imports.

Beads, small flowers and flower petals may be spread outside the item size range. One small decoration will be needed each for the mane and tail.

For example, the following design would require 3 small items: 1 for the flowers in the tail, 1 for the flowers in the mane and 1 for the rope.

Small decorations may also be used to add slight feathering to a horse's legs, add a forelock to a cropped mane, or change the position of the ears. One small decoration can edit up to one pair of legs.

Small items may not alter physical features beyond the above edits. Any horns, antlers, or other unnaturally occurring elements will need to have a clear strap or tie securing it to the horse.

We don't want to limit anyone's creativity and will strive to be flexible with items. If your item stretches the limits of what is allowed, it will be up to an admin's discretion if you need to add an additional small decoration, or add a large decoration.

Large Decoration

Large decorations are items that significantly alter the horse's appearance or add large objects to the import. This can range from adding large pieces of tack, editing the appearance of the mane and tail, or giving your horse a fat belly! Live animals are not allowed to be depicted on horse imports.

Below is the average size allowed for a single large item.

All physical alterations must be natural - trimming, growing, braiding, or knotting the mane/tail, adding or reducing weight, cropping the tail, etc. Adding attributes outside the breed standard will not be accepted (adding a beard, full leg feathering, etc.).

Given that horses cannot naturally survive after the loss of a limb, and prosthesis are extremely complex, requiring modern equipment and technology, we will not be allowing removal of legs.

Large edits are applied per object or alteration. For example, if you want to add a saddle and make your horse chubby, both of these would fit within the range of a single decoration, but will require two large decorations to apply.

Mane and tail edits are restricted to editing of the hair itself (this includes braids/dreads). Adding flowers, ribbons, beads, feather or other physical objects will require an additional small decoration(s).

We don't want to limit anyone's creativity and will strive to be flexible with items. If your item stretches the limits of what is allowed, it will be up to an admin's discretion if you need to add an additional item.
