Shavar

A marking best described as reverse splash, Shavar gives the appearance that your horse has run through mud. The marking may range from a slightly saturated dark brown to a dark charcoal black, and it should always be darker than what it sits over. May have a slight blending or fading, but the marking should overall have hard, distinct edges. Colour may have a slight gradient to it.

Dominant Shavar (SrSr) is not viable. Foals that receive two copies of the gene will be born infertile or stillborn.
