Blizzard
Blizzard is a random, non-hereditary mutation that may occur in any breeding. Named for it's snow-like appearance, it occurs as an intermixing of white hairs characterized by swirl like patterns. Often mistaken for the beginnings of grey in young horses, blizzard will progress in the horse's first six months until it reaches its full extent, which will cover no more than 30 % of the horse's body. Though most common across the shoulders and rump, blizzard may occur anywhere on the body.
Blizzard should never have any hard or distinct edges, nor will it have any fully solid patches of white. It will always have a brindled or roan-like appearance. May present with brindle-like striping.
